Join us as the The Traveling Trio goes around the globe!
Our family decided it was time. The pandemic was over, the world was opening up again, and we wanted a change. Something Big! Something we may never be able to do again with work and school constraints. We didn’t know exactly what we would do at first but we knew we all wanted to see the world.
I have been lucky enough to have traveled and lived abroad for a number of years. I studied abroad in college in Ghana, West Africa. I taught early childhood education in Zagreb, Croatia and Buenos Aires, Argentina. I learned Spanish in Peru. Attended a wedding in India. Practiced Yoga in Costa Rica. I've also traveled around Europe, North America, South America, and East Africa on shorter vacations. David and I have traveled together to Turkey, Greece, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and the most exotic- South Dakota.
The travel bug bit me when I was young and I have been infected ever since, luckily it’s not malaria! When our daughter turned 7 this year, we knew it was time to show her the world as well. The only country we’ve been able to take her to outside of the US because of the pandemic is Canada. That's just America light so we wanted to go further and bigger.
This summer, we’re spending a week in Costa Rica and a month visiting family and friends in the Midwest- where we’re from.
From August to December we’ll be flying all the way to Southeast Asia to explore Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Then 2 weeks in Japan and Korea with my sis, Maja. Our final stop will be New Zealand for 6 weeks where we have a cousin to visit and guide our travels.
